Salvete!
Hat vielleicht jemand Lust meine lateinische Fassung auf Fehler zu überprüfen? Zum Vergleich mögen die deutsche und / oder englische Fassung dienen.
U-ti-nam vi-ae ven-tis se-cun-dis i-te-rum nos om-nes con-du-cant, le-ni-ter ca-dant stil-lae in a-gris et so-les te ca-lor-e fo-ve-ant!
U-ti-nam vi-a pe-re-gri-nan-da sem-per pro-pe De-um ac-ce-das, u-bi fri-ge-scit, ver-ba ca-li-da et noc-tu lu-nam ple-nam ha-be-as!
U-ti-nam ci-bum ha-be-as ve-stim, pul-vi-num-que tu-o ca-pi-tis, et Di-a-bo-lo in-o-pi-nan-te in sum-mo cae-lo mul-ti an-ni sis!
Us-que~ ad re-di-tum~ no-strum, De-us be-ne om-ni-a ver-tat, te-ne-at te in ma-ni-bus su-is, sed pu-gnus su-us non te op-pri-mat!
Mö-ge die Stra-ße uns$zu-sam-men-füh-ren und der Wind in dei-nem Rük-ken sein, sanft fal-le Re-gen auf dei-ne Fel-der und warm auf dein Ge-sicht der Son-nen-schein.
Füh-re die Stra-ße, die Du~ gehst~ im-mer nur zu Dei-nem Ziel berg-ab. Hab, wenn es kühl wird war-me Ge-dan-ken~ und den vol-len Mond in dun-kler Nacht.
Hab un-ter'm Kopf ein wei-ches~ Kis-sen, ha-be Klei-dung und das täg-lich Brot. Sei ü-ber vier-zig Jah-re im Him-mel, be-vor der Teu-fel merkt, Du bist schon tot.
Bis wir~ uns mal wie-der~ se-hen, hof-fe ich, daß Gott Dich nicht ver-läßt. Gott hal-te Dich in sei-nen~ Hän-den, doch drüc-ke sei-ne Faust Dich nie zu fest.
May the~ road~ rise to~ meet you, may the wind be al-ways in your back, may the~ sun shine warm$up-on your face,~~ and the rain fall soft up-un your fields.
May you~ have the road you~ walk,~ down-hill all the way~ to your door, have warm~words~ on a cold e-ve-ning, and~ a full moon on a dark night.
May you~ have~ food and~ rai-ment, and a soft~ pil-low for your head, may you~ be~ four#ty years in hea-ven, be-fore the de-vil knows that you are dead.
Un-til~ we will meet a~-gain,~ God, I hope, will bless you day and night, may the~ Lord~ keep$you in his hand,~ and ne~-ver~ close his fist to tight.
Us-que ad re-di-tum no-strum De-us te in ma-nu te-ne-at,
Und bis wir uns wie-der-se-hen, hal-te Gott dich fest in sei-ner Hand,
And un-til we meet a-gain, may$God hold you in the hol-low of his hand,
Vielen Dank für Eu're Bemühungen!
